July 5, 2020 WinterCo (English) State of the Coalition

(Added July 6, 2020 @18:21)

TL;DR: All of the WinterCo alliance executives have agreed to participate in the conflict that started with the expiration of the TEST non-invasion pact (NIP) with The Imperium as of July 5th, 2020. Watch for pings throughout the week for move ops, market/contract updates, logistics updates, etc. Everything is in flux! What a time to be alive!

What follows below are the recordings of the SotC for the English-speaking corporations and alliances in WinterCo, and then Eingang’s somewhat annotated/expanded list of major points about the forthcoming conflict from the SotC. Any mistakes are hers.

The Recording

We’ve embedded two versions of the recording into this post. Why two? Because there’s no single audio format that plays in all browsers using HTML5. Depending on your browser, you may see one or two media players. Click the “play button” on the player for your browser even if you can see another one. It’ll probably work better. Each audio file is 12-19 megabytes for ~35 minutes of audio.

Noraus’s sound is somewhat loud and being clipped/distorted in the recording. Sorry. He also disappears quite a bit. Most stuff was repeated later by Luke.

Quick Summary of Important Points

  • We’re helping the “TEST” side

    • The goal is to push The Imperium out of Delve.
    • Over 150 alliances across TEST, Legacy, Final Reunion, PanFam, and Winter Coalition have blued one another for this event.
    • The Army of Mango Alliance and ProviBloc are not participating and can be shot.
    • Forsaken Empire (from Vale) is going to be taking advantage of the situation to cause mayhem in Vale but isn’t officially involved; Trigger Happy (from Tribute) is helping The Imperium side.
  • Subcap Doctrines & Staging

    • Jackdaws, Hurricanes, and Muninns to be staged in Hophib in an NPC station: Planet VI Moon III.
    • Fits will be posted soon™ either on the WC SeAT or possibly on WC-EN Auth. Wait for an announcement.
    • Jackdaw and Hurricane support ships, like logi and link ships, will be T1, not T2. Ask for advice for dictors or other ships.
    • Muninns will be regular Muninn fits with T2 logi, links, and other support ships – as usual.
    • Bombers and cheap entosis ships will also be useful.
  • Capitals/Supercapitals/Titans & Staging

    • Dreadnoughts (all races, default anti-cap dreadbomb fit) and carriers will be used and staged also in Hophib.
    • Force auxilliaries will not be moving. WC-EN faxes should remain at home.
    • There will be no supercarriers deployed. Supercarriers should remain at home for home defense.
    • Titans (armour and shield) will be staged somewhere else than Hophib (Aridia). That location will be announced later during the week in the relevant titan ping channels.
      - Shield titan pilots can apply to the WC-EN titan group.
      - You still need to own two buffer-fit Minokawas on a fully qualified Minokawa pilot that can be logged in simultaneously with your titan pilot.
      - Minimum shield titan skill requirements TBA soon™. Minokawa ones are available already; ask your WC-EN corp leadership.
      - Armour titan requirements remain unchanged.
  • Jump Clones/Death Clones

    • Line members: You should leave at least one jump clone in Hophib. Two is better!
      • They have to be left in NPC stations at the moment. There are two locations. We suggest one in each: Planet III and Planet VI Moon II.
      • Remember that you can’t swap between jump clones in NPC stations the same way you can in Upwell structures.
      • Note: neither of those are staging. That’s the way the cookie crumbles.
      • If you can leave characters there, then feel free to leave a death clone as well.
  • Ship Replacement Policy (SRP)

    • SRP will be available for some types of ships used in fleets in the warzone. You should apply for SRP on eligible fleets using your alliance’s normal process for coalition SRP, i.e., for most people, using an SRP link in fleet that goes to WC-EN Auth.
    • The following ships will be covered:
      • Subcaps for the deployed doctrine types, plus possibly others pinged out by an FC.
      • Carriers, up to a maximum of 1 billion ISK per payout, and T1 fighters on a per fighter basis. (Updated July 6, 2020 @13:20)
    • The following ships will not be covered by the coalition. You accept that if you use them and lose them, it’s your own loss, if your alliance/corp doesn’t cover them:
      • Dreadnoughts: These should be T1 dreadbomb fit in any case.
      • Supercarriers: These should be left at home.
      • Faxes: These should be left at home.
      • Titans. These can be used at your own risk in ops.
  • Move Ops

    • Subcaps: There were some move ops after the SotC for Jackdaws.
      • We will be moving subcaps via wormholes from this point on as we find wormholes that can get us somewhere conveniently close.
      • Keep an eye on EvE Scout for wormholes to Thera from from near Oasa/Perrigen Falls and from Thera (at the same time) to near Hophib. See one? Post a message in #drifter-wh-alert on WC-EN Discord to let us know where.
    • Carriers and dreads:
      • Move ops will be pinged in the relevant WC-EN channels.
      • Probably expect move ops starting from mid-week and some next weekend. Lots of cynos needed, so it’s hard to predict.
    • Titans:
      • There will be a Keepstar move route to be published on the WC-EN Titan channel later in the week. You can move yourself using this if you have the cynos and you’re careful.
      • There will be a move op probably on Wednesday and probably at least two next weekend.
      • Watch for pings in the WC-EN Titan channel.
    • Catch:
      • There will be move ops for people who moved Muninns on July 4th to Catch. Watch for pings.
    • Vale:
  • Markets & Logistics

    • Hophib Markets/Contracts

      • We will endeavour to get a Fortizar we control within a few weeks so that we can have a controlled market.
      • Using NPC stations means hostiles (or anyone else) can buy stuff up and relist it.
      • Alliance-only contracts are a possibility but a pain in the butt.
      • Public contracts are dangerous. Anyone can post them or buy them.
        • A common tactic from World War Bee was for Imperium members to buy up contracts and reprice them OR to put up ship contracts incorrectly fit to sabotage us.
      • We probably cannot initially buy locally in quantity from allies.
    • Logistics/Shipping

      • We’re looking at Green Light Logistics and Entwurf Hausfrau routes from a major market (possibly Amarr) to Hophib.
      • Black Frog services Hophib NPC stations from Jita or Amarr. It’ll cost, but it’s a service we can tell you is accepting contracts already. PushX is usually cheaper and will also service NPC Hophib.
      • Noraus will look at bringing ships in from Jita or The Drone Regions.
      • We’ll also be looking at producing ships at home in Oasa/Perrigen Falls and shipping them out via jump freighter.
  • Ops & Coordination

    • Pings

      • Ops will be pinged out by our FCs on our WC-EN Discord server as usual if our FCs run them or if we’re aware of an allied op we can join.
      • Ops run by allies that involve capitals or titans will be pinged out on the relevant channels (if we’re aware of them happening).
      • We can join WinterCo (CN) ops, but there may not be translators available, so it might be at your own risk.
    • Coordination

      • PAPI Coordination: Pan(da)Fam Alliance Please Ignore has a coordination server for FCs, including for our FCs. FCs should talk to Luke Anninan about this.
      • There is/will be a shared Mumble voice system to use for coordinated fleets. More info later.
      • Intel channel: Aridia Collaboration. Read MotD carefully and use linked intel tool. (Added July 6. 02:09)
